Dr Charlotte Payne is a UK trained GP who enjoys all aspects of general practice. Dr Payne has post graduate qualifications in children’s health, obstetrics and gynaecology. Her special interests include women’s and children’s health. Outside work Dr Payne enjoys sailing, skiing, cycling and tennis. Dr Payne consults Wednesday to Friday, and provides bulk billing to aged pensioners, students and children. 

Dr Jolly Patel General Practitioner

MBBS DCH FRACGP

Dr Jolly Patel completed her fellowship in May 2019 to become a member of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Jolly has special interests in women’s health, mental health, child health, and chronic disease management. Jolly has also completed training in contraceptive device insertion.

Dr Shiva Kabir General Practitioner

Dr Shiva Kabir studied Medicine and completed his GP training in the UK and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Kabir has an interest in Surgery and is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons UK. He works as a Surgical Assistant with Urology, Colorectal, ENT and Head and Neck Surgeons in Newcastle. Dr Kabir has a special interest in the area of skin cancer diagnosis, dermoscopy, and the various surgical and non-surgical techniques in the management of skin cancers.

Dr Aga Kabir General Practitioner

Dr Aga Kabir completed her GP training in the UK and her post graduate qualifications include a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from Oxford University. Dr Kabir has completed the Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology and a Diploma in Family Planning from the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecologists, UK. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has a special interest in women’s health and antenatal care. Dr Kabir offers insertions of IUD’s within the surgery.

Ashleigh D'Arcy Accredited Practising Dietitian

Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours)

Ashleigh D’Arcy graduated from The University of Newcastle in 2022. During her university placements, Ashleigh had the opportunity to work in a variety of different fields, including clinical, food service and community. Whilst on clinical placement, she had the opportunity to work with a variety of conditions including malnutrition, diabetes, cancer, gastric sleeve, PEG and wound healing patients. Her food service placement was spent at Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital, whereby she worked with the food service staff ensuring mid meal standards were meeting the ACI guidelines whilst measuring oral nutrition support waste over two wards, calculating an average of money lost to supplements per year. During her community placement with Grains and Legumes Nutrition Council, Ashleigh spent time auditing wet soup products in large local retailers, creating a presentation for Arnott’s and Heinz, to demonstrate ways they can improve their soup products and packaging.

Outside of work, Ashleigh enjoys spending time with her friends, working out at the gym, and cooking.
