Fullerton Health has become the third largest provider of primary healthcare in Australia following the acquisition of 48 clinics previously owned by Healthscope Medical Centres.

Fullerton Health Australia Managing Director Steven Harvey says the addition of the new clinics under the Fullerton Health Medical Centres banner marks an exciting new chapter for the organisation’s growth.

“We are proud to bring our intimate knowledge and expertise in healthcare, through our many successful businesses in Australia and the Asia Pacific through parent company Fullerton Health, to even more individuals and their families,” Mr Harvey said.

“We are genuinely passionate about delivering the very best in healthcare to Australian families and this acquisition allows us to work closely with the dedicated team of doctors, nurses and staff to do just that.

“We thank patients for putting their health, wellbeing and trust in our medical team and look forward to continuing to care for you for many years to come.”

While for patients it will be business as usual, Fullerton Health will be looking at what improvements can be made in the clinics including providing allied health services and occupational healthcare through Jobfit.

“We are very interested in understanding the needs of the communities we care for to ensure we are providing services, where possible, that meet those needs,” Mr Harvey said.

While the name of the clinics will remain in place, the signage will change to reflect the new Fullerton Health Medical Centres branding. This will be rolled out during February.

Fullerton Health is a leading healthcare provide in the Asia Pacific, with a network comprising more than 250 medical centres across seven countries with a network of more than 8000 medical providers worldwide.
